Job Description

Overview:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented IT professional with a strong background in website accessibility and development. This individual will play a key role in helping the organization achieve and maintain full compliance with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2.1, Level AA standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and improve the accessibility of the company website to meet WCAG 2.1, Level AA compliance

  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve accessibility issues

  • Provide guidance and recommendations based on accessibility best practices

  • Utilize auditing tools to monitor compliance and report on progress

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A solid understanding of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards

  • Proficiency in WordPress and CSS

  • Experience using Acquia Optimize or similar web accessibility auditing tools
