A local Austin startup is seeking a dedicated and intelligent Technical Customer Support Associate to join our team. In this role, you'll provide crucial support to users of background check software, ensuring they have the best possible experience. You will engage in software testing, feature enhancement, and client support while contributing to our knowledge base and maintaining high standards of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Support: Answer calls and emails, assist clients with software-related issues, and provide timely solutions.
- Software Testing: Conduct feature tests and provide feedback to enhance our software.
- Training & Documentation: Learn our software comprehensively, lead training sessions, and help build a robust FAQ database.
- Time Management: Handle varying call volumes effectively.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrate clear technical abilities and a proven history of quickly learning new systems.
Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; software experience is not mandatory but is preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in tech support or a similar field is a plus.
- Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, computer savvy, and the ability to work independently without extensive supervision.
- Personal Traits: Highly intelligent, task-oriented, steady under pressure, and excellent time management skills.
- Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of coding or web-based platforms (HTML) is beneficial. ISP background experience is a plus.
