A well-established commercial moving company is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Business Development & Marketing Representative to join our mature and successful sales team. This role is responsible for building new business opportunities through appointment setting, bid walks, strategic partnerships, networking, and ongoing client relationship management.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team. We're looking for someone with hustle, integrity, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to learn and grow. Candidates with a sports or competitive background often thrive in this environment due to their consistency, discipline, and team-first mindset.

The majority of this role will be attending networking events, finding opportunities to spread the word about the work this company does, building potential customer relationships, and keeping their social marketing channels relevant and up to date. Some events may fall outside of typical office hours. This role will be hybrid with the majority of your time spent finding and nurturing prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and develop new business opportunities through networking events and other outreach.
- Must be able to attend events that may not occur during a typical work day/office hours.
- Schedule appointments and assist the sales team as needed
- Build strategic partnerships and referral networks
- Maintain and strengthen client relationships
- Support marketing and brand awareness efforts through use of LinkedIn and other social media platforms
- Develop and grow your own book of business
