Job Position: RMA Technician
Location: Austin, TX 78727
Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Process returned materials authorizations (RMA) in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Inspect, test, and evaluate returned products to determine the nature of defects or issues.
- Perform troubleshooting and basic repairs on defective products as needed.
- Accurately document findings, test results, and repair actions in the company s database or tracking systems.
- Communicate effectively with customers, internal teams, and vendors regarding the status of RMAs and repair processes.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of returned materials to maintain product integrity.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and clean workspace, including inventory management of spare parts and tools.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to identify recurring product issues and suggest improvements.
- Follow safety protocols and comply with company policies while handling equipment and materials.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly with mechanical or electronic systems.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and repair procedures.
- Proficiency in using computers and software systems for data entry and tracking.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow established processes accurately.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for customer and team interactions.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to handle and inspect returned products, including lifting and moving items as necessary.
