Job Description
A company located in North Austin is seeking a Part-Time Office Assistant to manage day-to-day operations and serve as the point of contact (POC) for their team of 35 real estate agents. This is a dynamic role that requires a motivated individual to handle office management tasks, assist with meetings and events, and help ensure the smooth operation of the office. The schedule for this role would require 25 hours a week. As the business grows, this position offers the opportunity to transition into a full-time role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact for all 35 real estate agents in the office, assisting with their office needs and ensuring smooth communication.
- Event and Meeting Support: Schedule deliveries and order food for monthly meetings and events, ensuring all logistical details are taken care of.
- Office Management: Maintain the office environment, handle general administrative tasks, and ensure supplies and equipment are always stocked and functioning.
- Technology Support: Troubleshoot and resolve simple office technology issues, including the phone system and other basic equipment.
- General Office Tasks: Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and ensure the office runs efficiently on a day-to-day basis.
Job Requirements
- Comfortable using Mac OS as a primary operating system (laptop will be provided).
- Basic understanding of office management tasks such as filing, organizing, and maintaining office supplies.
- Ability to operate a simple phone system and direct calls as needed.
- Capable of resolving minor office technology issues or coordinating with external support to ensure smooth operations.
