Location: Austin, TX 78741

This part-time role offers an opportunity to support essential accounting and administrative operations while contributing to a meaningful cause.
Position Overview
The Accounting & Administrative Assistant will support day-to-day financial processes and general office operations. This role begins at 2 3 days per week with the potential to grow based on organizational needs and individual strengths. The position is temporary through January, with the possibility of becoming temp-to-hire for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Support
Enter invoices and bills into QuickBooks
Submit invoices for payment and process outgoing payments
Create and track invoices
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Collaborate with the organization s accounting vendor (Four Lane)
Optional based on experience: assist with payroll, timekeeping, and retirement account administration (John Hancock)
Administrative Support
General office tasks such as filing and document organization
Light administrative support as needed
Optional: assist with social media or other office projects depending on skill set
Workload
Approximately 40 50 invoices per month, with increased volume during annual conference season
Support for the organization s large annual conference held each July
Schedule
Part-time, 2 3 days per week
Hours fall between:
Monday Wednesday: 7: 30 AM 5: 30 PM
Thursday: 7: 30 AM 3: 30 PM
No Fridays
Schedule may shift occasionally based on events or staff availability
Qualifications
Required: QuickBooks experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
High level of initiative and strong work ethic
Ability to work collaboratively with a small, high-performing team
Professionalism, reliability, and strong communication skills
