Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Liquidation and Research Clerk to provide critical operational support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role involves a mix of administrative and technical duties in support of financial account reconciliation, stakeholder communication, and data analysis related to liquidation processes.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys variety in their workday, thrives on collaboration, and is comfortable working with sensitive data and high-stress situations. No two days will look the same—and your flexibility, professionalism, and curiosity will be key to success in this role.

Schedule: Full-time | Long-term temporary (6–12 months)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming communications (email, mail, phone), log activity, and prepare professional written responses

  • Communicate with external stakeholders, including individuals in potentially high-stress situations—strong communication and de-escalation skills are essential

  • Compile, analyze, and track data to monitor liquidation progress; prepare operational reports

  • Review financial records for accuracy and assist with account reconciliations (member accounts, bank accounts, investments, etc.)

  • Conduct quality assurance checks on data

  • Utilize a range of computer systems and software tools to retrieve, analyze, and manage data

  • Perform records management, including scanning, organizing, and maintaining physical and digital files

 

Job Requirements

Requirements:

  • Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Microsoft 365 tools, and general database usage

  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management

  • Ability to work independently and take direction from multiple team members

  • Effective communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations

  • Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs

  • Accounting, finance, or credit union experience strongly preferred

  • Experience with Power BI is a plus, but not required
