Liquidation and Research Clerk
Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Liquidation and Research Clerk to provide critical operational support in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This role involves a mix of administrative and technical duties in support of financial account reconciliation, stakeholder communication, and data analysis related to liquidation processes.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys variety in their workday, thrives on collaboration, and is comfortable working with sensitive data and high-stress situations. No two days will look the same—and your flexibility, professionalism, and curiosity will be key to success in this role.
Schedule: Full-time | Long-term temporary (6–12 months)
Responsibilities:

Manage incoming communications (email, mail, phone), log activity, and prepare professional written responses

Communicate with external stakeholders, including individuals in potentially high-stress situations—strong communication and de-escalation skills are essential

Compile, analyze, and track data to monitor liquidation progress; prepare operational reports

Review financial records for accuracy and assist with account reconciliations (member accounts, bank accounts, investments, etc.)

Conduct quality assurance checks on data

Utilize a range of computer systems and software tools to retrieve, analyze, and manage data

Perform records management, including scanning, organizing, and maintaining physical and digital files
Job Requirements
Requirements:

Strong technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), Microsoft 365 tools, and general database usage

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management

Ability to work independently and take direction from multiple team members

Effective communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations

Comfortable lifting up to 25 lbs

Accounting, finance, or credit union experience strongly preferred

Experience with Power BI is a plus, but not required
