Our client is a law firm in Bee Cave that provides a full suite of services to their respective clients, focusing in areas that small businesses, their owners, and the owners families routinely encounter. Types of law practiced: Probate & Estate Planning, Criminal Defense, Real Estate, Personal Injury, Business Law, and Litigation.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with case preparation by organizing legal documents and maintaining case files.
- Conduct research on laws, regulations, and legal articles to support case development.
- Draft and proofread legal correspondence, contracts, and other documents.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, hearings, and depositions.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other parties to gather information or provide updates.
- File legal documents with courts and ensure timely submission of required paperwork.
- Maintain and update office systems for tracking deadlines, appointments, and case progress.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and office software (e.G., Google Suite, legal database systems).
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive legal documents.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
- General understanding of office administration practices.
