Night Auditor

We are currently seeking a Night Auditor for a luxury hotel in beautiful downtown. In this role, you would be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions, maintaining the security and integrity of the property during overnight hours, and delivering the highest standard of guest service. This role requires a strong balance of technical, administrative, and customer service skills to support our guests and uphold the refined standards of our brand.
Key Responsibilities:

Guest Services

Provide a warm, personalized welcome and farewell to all guests.

Handle late check-ins, early departures, and guest requests with poise and efficiency.

Serve as the primary contact for all guest needs during overnight hours.

Monitor and ensure the safety and security of guests and the property.

Audit & Financial Duties
-
Accurately reconcile daily hotel transactions and ensure the integrity of the financial records.

Post room, tax, and other charges and ensure proper allocation.

Balance and verify all departments’ revenue and payment reports.

Prepare and distribute daily financial and operational reports to hotel leadership.

Administrative & Operational Support

Prepare the front office for the following day’s operations.

Handle overnight communications and coordinate with security, engineering, and housekeeping as needed.

Monitor night activity across the property, addressing or escalating issues appropriately.

Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data at all times.

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
-
Previous experience in a luxury hotel or hospitality environment.

Minimum 1-2 years of front desk, accounting, or night audit experience.

Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial tasks.

Proficiency with hotel management systems (e.g., Opera, PMS, POS systems).

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or accounting a plus.
