Executive Assistant for Non-Profit

A Texas non-profit company that offers a variety of support services to refugees from other countries is seeking an Executive Assistant to support their Executive Director. This cozy office space provides a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to those they are serving. Respect for the sensitive nature of the organization’s mission is paramount to success in this role!
Responsibilities:
- Manage petty cash log
- Maintain calendar as needed
- Edit, print and send grant applications, thank you notes, and tax forms
- Handled preparations for meetings, activities, events and parties
- Proficiency working with Google Suite, especially scheduling client appointments
- Comfort working in situations with an interpreter
Job Requirements
- Demonstrates a strong foundation in accounting, administrative and analytical tasks, and organizational support
- High level of English fluency, with superb spoken and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and databases, with the ability to effectively manage and analyze data using spreadsheets
- A dedication to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism
- A proactive approach to problem solving
- Experience in healthcare field, non-profit agencies, or social services is a plus
- The ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders
