Are you an experienced Administrative Assistant with a strong ability to think on your feet? Do you have experience working in events, logistics or production? If so, this position may be right for you!
An elevated catering company is seeking an Event Operations Administrative Assistant to work alongside their owner. Within this role, you will support the production team to ensure that the event vision is executed swiftly and to the highest level. Ideal candidates will have a strong attention to detail, great follow through and the ability to anticipate problems (and solve them) before being asked.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Act as the primary point of contact for the Owner, managing schedules, communications, and tasks.
- Project Management: Execute directives from producers and ensure timely and efficient completion of projects. Example tasks include sourcing vendors, obtaining quotes, and managing logistics.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues as they arise, demonstrating critical thinking and follow-through.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and manage documents using Excel, Google Drive, and other tools.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Excel, Google Drive/Sheets, and similar platforms.
- Background in production, logistics, or event operations is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and a proactive attitude. Must be comfortable with a "wear all hats" mentality.
