Customer Service Representative

Job Description
This position will include half data entry and half customer contact and small basic clerical work.
Duties include:
-Assisting customers in person, by phone and by email.
-Responds to requests for information, processes exemptions and performs data entry
-Review online and process deed records and other various recorded instruments conveying property ownership.
-Research various resources to update ownership and mailing addresses.
-Print maps and scans paper documents.
-Maintains alpha and numeric files.
-Receptionist duties as required.
-Must effectively execute duties in high stress situations while serving the public.
-Must recognize when information is confidential and safeguard confidential information.
-Operate common office equipment. Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirements
-High school graduate or equivalent.
-Two years of experience providing Customer Service; both in person and on the phone.
-Accurate Data Entry skills equivalent to typing 40 wpm
-Knowledge of the Texas Tax Code is a plus
-Work experience in mortgage lending, property management or other related field is a plus
