Are you an experienced Administrative Assistant with experience in the Government Sector? Do you have experience assisting an Executive Director? If so, this role might be the right opportunity for you!
A local government-adjacent organization is seeking a highly experienced Administrative Assistant to join their team. Within this role, you would support both the Executive Director as well as the Administrative Department. They would prefer a candidate with clear administrative experience, specifically within the government or non-profit sectors. Within this role, you would perform high-level administrative duties, including records management, logistical planning and meeting management.
DUTIES:
- Provides administrative and communications support for the Executive Director, including scheduling meetings and travel and handling correspondence
- Handles meeting planning, including agendas, minutes and coordination with attendees
- Acts as front office coordinator, performing all general office support duties
- Performs HR duties as needed, assisting with records management
