Administrative Assistant with Local Company

This position is with a local company located in Central Austin. They are seeking a candidate who is comfortable communicating with all types of people, who likes math and has a strong ability to multitask. They offer Medical, Dental and Vision benefits, a 401k, PTO and paid federal holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice processing and filing
- Cash, checks and credit card spreadsheet reconciliation
- Managing phone calls, emails and other forms of communication
- Controlling credit and accounts receivable collections
- Performing credit checks, verifying and preparing new credit accounts
- Preparing month-end financial reports
- Providing general support to sales team, lead warehouse team and manager
Job Requirements
- Experience working as an Administrative Assistant
- Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office
- Must have strong math skills
- Must be willing to work late at month end to balance all accounts
- Trustworthy with confidential information
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
