Administrative Assistant with Local Company

This position is with a local company located in Central Austin. They are seeking a candidate who is comfortable communicating with all types of people, who likes math and has a strong ability to multitask. They offer Medical, Dental and Vision benefits, a 401k, PTO and paid federal holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice processing and filing
• Cash, checks and credit card spreadsheet reconciliation
• Managing phone calls, emails and other forms of communication
• Controlling credit and accounts receivable collections
• Performing credit checks, verifying and preparing new credit accounts
• Preparing month-end financial reports
• Providing general support to sales team, lead warehouse team and manager

• Experience working as an Administrative Assistant
• Intermediate Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office
• Must have strong math skills
• Must be willing to work late at month end to balance all accounts
• Trustworthy with confidential information
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
