Description: A locally owned and established tool and equipment supply company in Austin is seeking a dependable and motivated Administrative & Accounting Support Professional to join their team. Position Overview
This position blends traditional administrative responsibilities with accounting and customer service support. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, male-dominated environment.
Role: Administrative & Accounting Support
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Status: Temp-to-Hire
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct administrative support to the owner
Monitor and manage email communications, drafting professional responses as needed
Handle invoicing and assist with collections follow-up
Answer phones and provide friendly, professional customer service
Support basic accounting and administrative functions
Assist with data entry, record keeping, and general office organization
Step in where needed to support the team and daily operations
Candidate Profile & Requirements
Previous administrative experience in an office or operations environment
Experience with Acumatica or NetSuite strongly preferred
Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred
Comfortable working in a male-dominated, hands-on industry environment
Professional, polished, and confident communicator (written and verbal)
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Willingness to help wherever needed and take ownership of responsibilities
Interested in long-term employment and growing within the organization
