An organization located in North Austin is seeking a seasoned Accounts Receivable Specialist to handle their accounts receivable processes with precision. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of accounts receivable and accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high accuracy in all tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Ledger Management: Assist with general ledger activities, including posting payments and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Payroll Processing: Work with payroll offices to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure accurate processing of payroll deductions.
• Account Reconciliation: Support the accounting department with end-of-year account reconciliations and monthly updates.
• Monthly Maintenance: Perform monthly maintenance of accounts, including importing mass adjustments and ensuring data accuracy.
• Collections and Database Maintenance: Handle all correspondence related to collections, database maintenance, and validate data for collections and cancellations.
• Payment Processing: Accurately process lockbox payments received and maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry.

• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable with a proven track record of handling complex AR tasks.
• 2+ years of customer service experience, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, with the ability to manage and analyze data effectively.
• Proficiency in databases and database queries for efficient data management.
• High accuracy in data entry and a meticulous approach to financial record-keeping.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
