Administrative Assistant with Non-Profit
Job Description
Are you an experienced Administrative Assistant adept at keeping the office on-task? Do you have administrative experience in government or law enforcement? If so, this could be the role for you!
This position is well-suited for a seasoned administrative assistant comfortable handling organization operations and training materials. The ideal candidate would maintain filing systems, work with confidential data entry within an electronic database, and coordinate scheduling and logistical arrangements for training delivered.
Responsibilities:
- Provides information on requirements and procedures for participating in training
- Manages the application process and performs all administrative duties specific to training including collecting required documents from applicants
- Assists training staff with gathering lessons plans, instructor contracts, class rosters, and arrangements for facilities for meetings and training
- Works with collection, invoicing, and recording of tuition and fees
- Performs administrative support related to preparation of spreadsheets, reports, surveys, registration forms, correspondence, and other documents for agency operations
Job Requirements
- Education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent experience
- 2 or more years of experience as an Administrative Assistant
- High degree of competence in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to interpret rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Experience training others in entry-level admin duties
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-volume workload environment
Experience in administration with government or law enforcement is strongly preferred.
