Insurance Follow Up Specialist
Job Description
We are accepting applications an Insurance Follow-Up Specialist to join our temporary staff. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and data entry skills, some experience in a medical office environment, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, repetitive work setting. Medicaid experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities:

Research claim and eligibility information across various insurance portals

Evaluate and correct insurance denials

Draft and send appeals to insurance companies for denied claims

Contact insurance companies by phone to determine claim status and reasons for denial
Job Requirements
Requirements:

Prior customer service experience (previous patient follow-up or medical front desk experience highly preferred)

Strong and accurate data entry skills

Ability to work independently and think critically

Comfortable handling repetitive tasks in a high-volume environment

Good computer proficiency (familiarity with insurance portals a plus)

Medicaid billing experience is preferred but not required
