The founder of the company is an expert in her field and she speaks at conferences all over the world.
Responsibilities in this role will include work as both an EA and an Event Planner. As an EA, duties will include monitoring the founder’s calendar, assisting with travel needs, project management support for all activities, results tracking, and day to day organization including donor acknowledgements, donor appeals, handling financial documents, and scheduling conference calls across multiple time zones. As an Events Coordinator, duties will include being the lead organizer for the annual summit held in Washington each year, organizing and executing smaller scale events in Austin, and organizing and managing projects using optimal project management software. Additional duties will include handling thank you and tax receipt letters, bill payments, banking deposits, budget tracking, invitations, board meeting prep, and other routine administrative tasks as necessary.
Applicants for this role must be detail oriented, articulate, and able to approach challenges and follow through. Requirements include event fundraising experience, project managing experience of some capacity either with or without the actual title, experience organizing events, and familiarity with project management tools.
