Are you familiar with medical technology and do you have good phone skills? Our client company provides full administration of supplemental insurance and retirement services for 6 carriers. They are a full-service, nationally recognized, third party administrator of fully-insured employee benefit plans. They are licensed and bonded and represent only top-rated insurance companies.
The Entry Level Claims Examiner is responsible for analyzing, processing, researching, adjusting and adjudicating claims which will result in a payment or non-payment of a claim with minimal guidance from the medical team or leadership team, reviewing insurance policies, the claim form and supporting documentation to make sure that all of the information is correct, and determining whether the claims are covered under the policies issued to that policyholder. The Claims Examiner will also serve on rotation for customer service phone call support responding to claim inquiries.
Minimum Requirements include familiarity with medical terminology and excellent phone skills. Preferred requirements also include knowledge of CPT and diagnosis codes and claims processing experience.
